For Teachers

  The Writing Lab exists to assist classroom teachers in several ways. The first is to provide one on one support for students who struggle in writing. It is sometimes easier for students to work with someone other than the classroom teacher in order to get a different perspective. 

  Please e-mail or call me to set up a time for intervention. It is best if I have a complete set of instructions so I have a good understanding of what the assignment is. This will also help us collaborate more efficiently.

 The second purpose of the Writing Lab is to provide classroom teachers with an efficient area to take students for research. The Writing Lab has 30 computers and a printer as well as a Smartboard. We have back up printing to the third floor copier. There are also several tables set up for peer to peer or teacher to student collaboration.
